Westfield – Lois A. (Yefko) Justin, 85, (1931 – 2017) passed away on February 1, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Westfield to the late Alexander and Ann (Condel) Yefko and was a graduate of Westfield Schools. Lois was the owner of Knit and Pearl Yarn Shop in Westfield for many years, and retired in 1997 as a Librarian in the Westfield Library Children’s Department. After her retirement she volunteered to read to elementary students. She loved to read, knit, go to the Majestic Theater and was a member of various book clubs. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Victor P. Justin and is survived by her two loving sons, David P. Justin and Robert A. Justin and his wife Pamela, all of Westfield, her sister, Carolyn Harrington of West Springfield, her niece Sara and life partner Kate of Vermont and a nephew Michael of California.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday at 4 PM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 2-4 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in the spring in St. John’s Cemetery, Lockhouse Rd., Westfield.
