WESTFIELD – Eaglemania-The World’s Greatest Eagles Tribute Band will be performing all the Eagle’s top hits May 6, 2016, 7:30 PM at the Westfield Technical Academy Auditorium in a benefit concert for the Alumni Association’s scholarship drive.
The music that seized the imaginations of millions and helped an uneasy nation in the ’70s “Take It Easy,” Peaceful Easy Feeling”, “Desperado”, “Hotel California” and many other top hits helped tell the story of the Eagles classic tale of an American band.
Eagle’s drummer and vocalist Don Henley suggested in an email interview a year or so ago that the band may never tour again and with the recent passing of founding member Glenn Frey, Henley’s prediction may be true. If seeing the original Eagles band was on your “bucket list” of bands to see live, Paul Lococo event organizer stated “This is the next best thing to the real Eagles ever. Their performance made me think that I was seeing the actual Eagles and here they are coming Westfield as the result.”
The national touring production of Eaglemania has been selling out arenas and music venues more so than ever and is the next best thing to the Eagles.
Eaglemania-The World’s Greatest Eagles Tribute Band. That isn’t their slogan by mistake. Eaglemania has dedicated itself to faithfully reproducing the sound of The Eagles for the past three years. Since their inception, Eaglemania has been thrilling audiences all over the East Coast with their stunning five part harmonies and their uncanny ability to emulate The Eagles note by note. Their show consists of all of the Eagles greatest hits, as well as some of the solo work of many of the individual members such as Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Joe Walsh.
The band consists of an ensemble of veteran musicians. They typically perform in theaters, casinos, and large night clubs, providing tens of thousands of fans an experience they won’t soon forget. One of the comments you’ll hear most often about Eaglemaniais that they sound EXACTLY like The Eagles. Audiences are amazed by how closely they sound to the real band. This is the one thing the band prides itself on. “We have spent countless hours breaking down everything The Eagles do on their albums so that we can faithfully reproduce these unforgettable songs in the most authentic way possible. We do not take liberties with their music. We play exactly what The Eagles played on their records. This gives our audience a chance to experience the music the way it was meant to be heard, and we do this live on stage night after night.” says founder Frankie Reno. “Our audiences are taken on a journey with the timeless music of The Eagles…courtesy of Eaglemania.”
Organizers are urging those interested to buy tickets soon as the May 6th event is an intimate evening reserved for a limited number of audience members.
