WESTFIELD: Loretta E. (Samborski) Masciadrelli, passed away at Baystate Noble Hospital on October 21, 2020. She was 98 years old. She was born in Westfield to the late John and Zofia (Madej) Samborski. She graduated from Westfield High School, married a strapping Army Sargent, Dante L., after World War Two, and lived in Westfield her entire life, raising three children. She worked at various local businesses until her retirement in 1986. Even as physical challenges weighed on her later in life, she never lost her sense of humor, good nature, or love for her family and friends.
Loretta was predeceased by her husband Dante in 1997, and leaves leaves two sons, Daniel of Manchester, CT, David and his wife Marie of Westfield, and a daughter, Donna and her husband Timothy Riley of Westfield. She was blessed with four grandchildren, Lisa and her husband TJ Kozik, Tina and her husband Peter Mangan, Kensi Riley and Marine Lance Corporal Shane Riley, along with three great grandchildren, Mya and Mason Kozik, and Madison Mangan.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday October 28th at 9 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, followed by a Mass in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road, Westfield at 10 am.
