WESTFIELD: Louisa (VanDenHeuvel) Van Oostveen, 94, of Westfield died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Amersterdam, Holland on December 1, 1920 the daughter of the late Leonard and Helena (Olieslaeers) Van DenHeuvel and has been a resident of Westfield for over 50 years. Louisa was employed at the former Dutchman’s Restaurant of Westfield for several years and was also a member of the staff at Oma’s Kitchen at Blandford Ski Area, Louisa was predeceased by her husband Gerrit in 1996. She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Hetty of Russell, and Richard of Westfield. Louisa also leaves four grandchildren, Eric, Vanessa, Patricia, and Gregory and five great grandchildren and her niece Rose Puffer and her husband Tim. Her funeral and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
