Lucia Entwistle

WESTFIELD – Lucia Entwistle sadly passed away on October 7th, 2024 at the age of 80. She was a wonderful mother, nana, and a friend, was always there when we needed with no hesitation. She was born on August 1st, 1944 and passed away in her house as wished surrounded by the people who loved her with their whole heart.

She was born in Florida, Sicily, Italy and came to America in 1974. She was an owner of the Granville Store for over 20 years then worked at Walmart for the last 20 years before she retired. She met her wonderful friends there that she loved to work with, chat with, and just to have a simple coffee with.

She leaves behind her son Tino Pavano and his wife Laura Smart from Vermont, her daughter Donna Pavano, who resides in Chicopee, her best friend Pamela Lando, and leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, the joy of her life, Savannah Rushlow, Sebastian Rushlow, and Noah Goraj. Lucy loved spending time with her granddaughter Savannah as they were super close, sleepovers and deep conversations created a bond beyond nana/granddaughter – a best friend relationship was formed, and they were each other’s person. She always made sure everything and everyone else was okay before herself which we always told her that she is priority. Lucy was the most loving woman no matter what, she always saw the better in everyone and gave everyone a chance. Lucy loved her plants she grew and making pasta for her family when they came over. She was truly the light to our lives and would not trade her for anything. Savannah says “She was my person. I love her so much and I’ll miss her.” She never once doubted me or my abilities to do anything, always honest and loved me more than anything and made sure I knew that I’m her “little princess” and that “she loves me more” battle which is unforgettable. She is unforgettable.” Everything had to be perfect just like her. She will be missed deeply by everyone that surrounded her with nothing but love. Truly the best woman anyone can ask for in life. She was the sunshine on the darkest days. We love you the most.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, October 14th, from 4-7 p.m. at the Southwick-Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 624 College Highway, Southwick. Burial will be private.
