WESTFIELD – The 104th Fighter Wing’s Maintenance Group was awarded “The Maintenance Effectiveness Award” on Sunday.
The National Guard Bureau selected the 104th Fighter Wing’s Maintenance Group for this award for excellence in performing on and off aircraft maintenance and overall program support during the October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014.
“The Maintenance Effectiveness Award recognizes and rewards a team of dedicated maintenance professionals for their hard work and accomplishments during a very demanding period; I am very proud of them,” said 104th Fighter Wing, Vice Commander, Col. Peter T. Green.
Due to their success, the 104th Fighter Wing Maintenance Group will now have the opportunity to compete at the Air Force level.
