William R. Welch, 34, of 1 Klondike Ave, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 by a single scheme and five charges of improper use of a credit card brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to a two year term in the house of correction and five one year terms. All the sentences were ordered to be served, with credit for time served awaiting trial, concurrently with a term imposed by Holyoke District Court.
Gary Burchard, 51, of 128 Oak Hill Road, Pittsfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of trespass brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for two months. He was assessed $50 and charges of trespass with a motor vehicle and dumping more than seven cubic feet of trash were not prosecuted.
Michael L. Slipkowski Jr., 29, of 868 Southampton Road, was ordered to remain drug and alcohol free and to submit to anger management evaluation after he submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $50.
