VOLLEYBALL HALL OF FAME WELCOMES NEW BOARD PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS
HOLYOKE – The Volleyball Hall of Fame today announced yesterday it has elected three new members to its board of directors and has appointed Ed Toole as its new president.
Mr. Toole, a resource director at YMCA of the USA, has been on the board of the Volleyball Hall of Fame for three years and brings extensive expertise in strategic planning, board development, and non-profit operations to his role as board president. He was also a former executive director of the Greater Holyoke YMCA.
The Volleyball Hall of Fame also welcomes the following new members to the board: Steve Bishop, executive director/president of the Florida Region of USA Volleyball, as well as the assistant commissioner of the Premier Volleyball League; Sabrina Smeltz, assistant director of Annual Giving at Deerfield Academy and Boys Junior coordinator for the New England Region of USA Volleyball; and Julie Zomar, marketing communications manager at MorphoTrust USA (Billerica, MA), as well as director of Marketing & Partnerships for the Beantown Volleyball Club (Newton, MA).
