WESTFIELD – The YMCA of Greater Westfield gave a BIG “Thanks!” to Dave Amanti and Advanced Manufacturing for donating ice time to the Y’s Kids afterschool program.
Amanti and Advanced Manufacturing donated ice time for the children in the YMCA’s afterschool program once a month for many years. The program started back up for 2012 this past Friday.
“It’s everyone’s favorite day of the month,” said Kaitlyn Chambers, Assistant Youth Development Director at the “Y”.
Amelia Park staff provide walkers for the children to use on the ice and The YMCA schedules extra staff to help all the children who are not yet professional skaters.
“The YMCA as well as our children and families are so grateful to have this opportunity,” Chambers said. “We’re excited for the partnership and can’t wait for next month. Without the help of Amelia Park and Dave Amanti it wouldn’t be possible, so thank you.”
