WESTFIELD – Marcelino Osorio Gonzalez, 95, of Westfield died Monday, October 7, 2013 in Westfield. He was born in Puerto Rico on March 27, 1918 and has lived in Westfield for the past sixty-eight years. Marcelino was employed as an assembler for Columbia Bicycle and also worked for Fowler Farms and Clark Tobacco.
He leaves his children, Miguel Osorio of Florida, Puerto Rico, and three step-children, Jose DeJesus and Carmen A. DeJesus and Brenda Sanderson; two grandchildren and one great-grandson and special friends, Carmen DeJesus of Chicopee and Jalen Rodriguez.
The funeral will be Friday, October 11th at 10:00 a.m. from Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, with burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
