SOUTHWICK – Marcia P. Cecchini, 75, was born in Springfield, MA on December 19, 1942 to the late Francis and Marguerite (Coyle) Percy, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Our Lady of the Elms. She was co-owner, along with her husband Ronald, of Sonicron Systems Corp. in Westfield. Marcia enjoyed gardening, boating and traveling especially to the ocean and beach. To cherish her memory, she leaves her loving husband Ronald V. Cecchini of Southwick; her devoted children, Marita C. Niquette and her husband Michael of Southwick, Julie T. Cook and her husband Daniel of Westfield and Mark F. Cecchini-Beaver and his wife Katherine of Boise, ID, as well as her adored grandson Luke James Cecchini-Beaver. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Doctors Kirtani and Sobral, their staff, and the staff of Trinity Health at Home for their kind and compassionate care of Marcia. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 4 – 7PM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA. Marcia’s Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield. Burial will be private in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Marcia’s name may be made to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center, 271 Carew St, Springfield, MA 01104 or to Sacred Heart Church.
