SOUTHWICK – Marceno, Margaret L. (Peg) of Southwick, MA, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 30th. Margaret was raised in Burlington VT and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from CT Women’s College in New London, and a master’s degree from Westfield State College. She was a school teacher and school psychologist serving the town of Southwick for 25 years. After retiring, she served on the board of the Highland Valley Elder Services. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends. Peg was always happy, positive and very friendly, often striking up meaningful conversations with everyone she met.
Above all else she loved and was devoted to her family and loved all the holiday and birthday gatherings more than anything.
Peg is predeceased by husband Leonard Seibert, daughters; Carol Marceno and Lynn Garcia. She is survived by her loving family; Patti Marceno-Rubin, Stephen Marceno, Cathy (Rob) Marceno, Jim (Lori) Marceno, Maryann (Todd) Richards and Tom Garcia. Grandchildren; Christy (Kate) Garcia-Pettit, David (Starra) Garcia, Kari (Greg) Miller, Jessica (Brett) Anderson, Cara (Micah) McNulty, Samantha (Caleb) Rubin-Jones, Zachary Richards and Justin Richards. Great-grandchildren; Mila, Jackson and Graham Miller, Avia, Aidan and Acre J. McNulty, Adella and Dash Anderson and Madeline and Joshua Garcia-Pettit.
