WESTFIELD: Margaret Louise “Peggy” (Wingate) Pignatare, Harper, 81, passed on Wednesday March 25th 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was born in Westfield on March 25th 1934 to the late William and Margaret (Liptak) Wingate. She has lived in Westfield most of her life. She attended Westfield Schools and worked at Stanley Home Products in 1956, Digital Equipment Corp. for 15 years. She also worked part time at the Governor’s Center. She was a communicant of St. Peter’s and St. Casimir’s Parish. She was pre-deceased by her husband’s Frank Pignatare in February of 1981 and Frederick J. Harper in March of 1997. She leaves two sons, Joseph W. Pignatare and his wife Gwen and Gary Pignatare both of Westfield. She also leaves two granddaughters Rachael M. Pignatare and Rebecca A. Pignatare. She was pre-deceased by her youngest son Frank J. Pignatare Jr. in 1968. The funeral will be held on Monday March 30th at 10 am in St. Peters and St. Casimir’s Church, 22 State Street, Westfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Sunday March 29th from 4-7 pm from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Peggy may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
