WESTFIELD: Margaret Sanford Arenstam (Peggy), 83, passed away on May 17, 2021 after a short illness. She was born in Westfield MA, the daughter of Richard and Caroline Sanford.
Peggy is predeceased by her brother David O. Sanford (m. Marcia Sanford).
She attended Northfield School for Girls, 1955, and Westbrook Junior College, 1957. In 1959, Peggy married Michael Arenstam. Living in Westfield, Plymouth MA, and Saco ME, Peggy’s life centered around family and friends. Whether camping with four young children, traveling with life-long friends or baking at home with grandchildren, she brought love and laughter with everything she did. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crafts of all kinds. She worked for many years as a receptionist office manager for dental offices in Plymouth and Biddeford. Peggy also volunteered at the Saco Food Pantry and worked at the Saco polls.
She is survived by her four children Clare and Trevor Graham, Sherborn MA, David and Teri Arenstam, Saco ME, Peter Arenstam, Plymouth MA, John and Rose Mary Arenstam, Paducah KY, her beloved grandchildren Emma Campbell (Ryan Campbell), Katie Arenstam (Justin DeFrancesco), Jacob H. Arenstam (Krystal Arenstam), Hannah Stowe (George Stowe), Abigail Arenstam, Joshua Arenstam, Julia Arenstam, Jacob J. Arenstam, Sarah Jane Graham, Thomas Graham and her great-grandchildren Ellie Campbell, Lucas and Maddie DeFrancesco; Theodore Stowe.
