Westfield, MA -Marie (Swiatek) Gogol was born on November 6, 1942 in Westfield, MA and died on October 17, 2016. She leaves her devoted husband, William Gogol. They were partners in marriage for 52 years and partners in business for 38 years at BG Sporting. Marie leaves a large, loving family: sister Margaret Tella, brother Donald Swiatek, sister-in-law Joyce Swiatek, nephews Don, Billy, and Michael, and nieces Hope and Susan; sisters-in-law Carol Soto and Jane Watras, brother-in-law David Gogol, nephews Matthew and Michael, and nieces Kathy and Jenny. Marie was pre-deceased by her brother John Swiatek, brother-in-law William Tella, niece Deborah Henault, and brothers-in-law John Gogol and Daniel Gogol. Our Marie was a giving and generous person with a heart of gold. She loved people and always greeted them with a big smile. Marie received great joy from her love of all animals, especially her adopted cats and dogs whom she treated as her special children.
