SOUTHWICK – Mark A. Leavitt, 43, a resident of this town for the past 9 years, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2013 at Noble Hospital, Westfield, MA. Born & educated in Westfield, Mark was a 1989 graduate of Westfield High School.Mark was employed by MK America in Bloomfield, CT, where he worked as senior administrative manager. He was an avid New England sports fan who enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, & Celtics.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Marie (Duncan) Leavitt; two beautiful daughters, Nicole and Marisa; his mother, Tharon Williams of Westfield, MA; two brothers, Joseph Leavitt of Chicopee, MA, and Steven Leavitt of Southwick, MA; three sisters, Debra Rowe of Westfield, MA, Donna Duval of Chicopee, MA, and Kathy Pittman of Courtland, Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for Mark will be held on Friday, August 16th at 7:30 p.m. at the Southwick-Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, August 16th from 4:00-7:30 p.m. prior to the services.
Memorial contributions made be made to a fund for Mark’s children Nicole and Marisa at Berkshire Bank.
