WESTFIELD – 
Martha D. Nicoll, 79, died Friday January 24, 2020 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on September 17, 1940 to the late Malcolm and Eunice (Stiles) Donald. She was a lifelong resident of Westfield attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Westfield High School. She received her BA in Education from Westfield State College in 1962. She married her husband Ronald Nicoll in 1963. She taught for a year at Woodland Elementary School in Southwick. She drove a bus for the Westfield school system for many years and retired in 2010. She was a member of the Westfield Woman’s Club and was in the pitch league at the Westwood with her partner Sheila. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald Nicoll in 2002.
She leaves her son Ian Nicoll of Port St. Lucie, FL, her daughter Catherine Snow and her husband Austin of Southwick, her grandchildren Conner and Alec Snow, her sister Ruth Fayditch of Los Angeles, CA and one niece, Catherine deTuede of Lamoine, ME. The funeral service and burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holyoke Health Care Center.
