WESTFIELD – Mary A. Kirby, 95, passed away on August 18, 2016. She was born on April 11, 1921 in Westfield, to Stephen and Santella Barto. She leaves her two sons, Fred and Richard Kirby, as well as her sister Madeline Frantiska, and many nieces and nephews, and many close friends. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She loved to travel, and loved to volunteer for any good cause. She was a past member of the Council of Aging, and was a member of numerous clubs. Mary was an avid reader, reading a book a day for most of her life. Mary had a number of jobs, from a greeter at the police department, a volunteer teacher’s aide at Fort Meadow School, and a 25 year retiree of Sears. She will be missed by many.
