WESTFIELD – Michael “Mickey” Gordon Ryan, 7, died Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born in Springfield, MA on June 4, 2005. He has lived in Westfield where he enjoyed riding his bicycle and spent many days at local playgrounds. He was a loving member of the Pioneer Valley Baptist Church.He leaves his mother Kerry Lee (Southworth) Ryan and his sister, Katelyn Ryan of Westfield; his father, Michael E. Ryan of Custer, South Dakota; his maternal grandmother, Kathy McBride of Torrington, CT; his nieces, Robyn Wert of Orange and Charlett Wright of Agawam; his aunts, Tammy Tracy and Rachel Southworth of Torrington, CT, Michelle Harding of E. Hartland, CT; and his uncle, Matthew McBride of Southwick; his grandfather and many aunts uncles and cousins.
The funeral for Michael will be held on Friday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. in the Pioneer Valley Baptist Church, 265 Ponders Hollow Road, Westfield, MA 01085. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
Donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the church for a playground in memory of Michael.
