WESTFIELD – Mildred M. “Millie” Zombick, 80, a retired 39 year art teacher in the Westfield Public School System, died Monday, October 1, 2012 in a local nursing home. Born and raised in Westfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Hargraves) Zombick.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Westfield. Millie was active in the Westfield Historical society, a graduate of Westfield High School, Westfield State University, The MA and Hampden County Teachers Association and was a well known oil and watercolor painting artist. She also enjoyed photography.
She leaves her cousins, Leah Stewart of NYC, George Hargraves of Marshfield, MA, Judy Reardon of CT and William Hargraves of Northampton. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Zombick and her cousins, Cynthia Grimaldi of Florence and Anne Choma of CT.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield. The Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main Street, Westfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
