BLANDFORD, MA – Nancy (Patino) Allen, 67, of Blandford, MA entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2013, surrounded by her family, in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield on September 5, 1946 and lived in Blandford all her life.
Nancy attended local schools and graduated from Westfield High School in 1965. She was also a graduate of Northampton Commercial College. Nancy retired as a legal Secretary for Bacon and Wilson in 2009, prior to that, she worked for the law firm of Lee and Pollard and also worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut. She adored her three grandchildren, enjoyed traveling with her husband Tom and loved her home in the hills.
Nancy leaves her husband of forty-four years, Thomas W. Allen; a son, Gregory of Blandford; a daughter, Jennifer Peusizey and her husband Mike of Peru and three grandchildren, Haley, Amber and Allen and numerous friends and acquaintances.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 1st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield MA. Funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Nancy’s memory be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew, Springfield MA 01104.
