Westfield – Nancy Jane (Gilman) Crawford, 87, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born in Springfield on May 19, 1932 to the late Joseph and Marguerite (Carbonneau) Gilman. She grew up in Chicopee and was a 1950 graduate of Chicopee High School. She was a dental assistant/ receptionist for Dr. Irving Greenberg for 35 years and retired in 1994. She was a past member of Ladies Oriental Shrine. Nancy enjoyed ceramics, square dancing, camping in the summer, and spending winters in Myrtle Beach S.C.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 69 years Carl J. Crawford Sr., Her daughter Karen Terrett of Westfield and her son Carl J. Crawford Jr. and his wife Fran of Chesapeake, VA, .She also leaves three grandsons, Michael Kotarski and his wife Michelle, Keith and Caelan Crawford, one granddaughter Michelle Kotarski, 6 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. She was pre-deceased by her sister Joanne Penn, and her son in law Mark Terrett.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 11, from 2:30 pm till 4:30 pm with funeral services immediately following at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will be private.
