WESTFIELD – Narciso Gomez, 83, (1941-2025) passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at home. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico to the late Toribio and Juana (Rodriguez) Gomez. He was employed as a machine operator for over 35 years for New England Concrete Pipe. Narciso loved music, playing guitar, watching movies, electronics, air shows and astronomy.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Sonia N. Gomez.
Narciso is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Noemi (Lopez) Gomez, his four children, Juan Carlos Gomez of Florida, Sonia N. Gomez Marquez of California, Ruben Gomez and his wife Debra of Westfield and Alex Gomez of Westfield, his two brothers, Hector Rodriguez of Florida and Bernando Merced of Springfield, a sister Nilsa Fernandez of Springfield, twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 12-2 p.m. in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
