WESTFIELD – 
Nellie E. (Hayden) Robak, 93, of Westfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Governor’s Center in Westfield. She was the beloved wife of 56 years to the late Walter Robak. Nellie was born in Westfield on January 15, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Eulalia (Coe) Hayden. She was a Registered Nurse for Noble Hospital for 31 plus years until her retirement in 1989 at the age of 62. After she retired, she enjoyed traveling to see her family, she also loved to bake especially her families famous “Apple Pie” and in her later year’s ceramics became a passion of hers.
She leaves behind her daughters Cynthia Johnson of Florida, Kathi and her husband John Malinowski of Pennsylvania, Shirley Polley of Westfield, Terrie and her husband Robert of North Carolina and Carol and her husband Al Young of Colorado. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, sister Barbara Porter and many nieces, nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son-in-law Sam Johnson, brothers Charles and Floyd, sisters Jessie, Mae, and Pauline.
