WESTFIELD: 
Newell DeGray, 90, died Monday, March 9, 2015 at home. He was born in Suffield, CT on October 19, 1924 to the late Morgan and Mary (Iserman) DeGray. He was a WW-2 Army Veteran. He has lived in Westfield most of his life and attended local schools and graduated from Westfield Trade School. Newell was a truck driver for Root Trucking, and laid carpet for Lampson Furniture and he worked nights at Romani’s Bowling Alley. He also worked for Tommy Williams Moving Co. and since 1975 he has worked at DeGray’s Service Inc. with his family. He was also an avid bowler. He leaves his wife of 73 years Gail M. (Noyes) DeGray, his son Cory DeGray of Westfield, his daughter Marcia DeGray of Westfield, his brother Raymond DeGray of W. Springfield, 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a few great-great- grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Gail “Bonnie” Morris. The funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family, calling hours are omitted.
