WESTFIED: Patrick M. Curran passed away March 26, 2016 at Genesis in Westfield with his wife, daughter and a niece by his side. Patrick is predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Daniel Curran, his brother John Curran and his brother Daniel Curran. Patrick worked for the Turnpike Authority for 20+ years before retirement. Patrick loved long car rides, traveling from fair to fair, watching horse/ox pulls. He was a car enthusiast and loved country music. Patrick spent the winters of his golden years in Venice, FL with siblings where he enjoyed his long walks and bicycle rides. Patrick leaves behind his wife Barbara Curran, daughter Patricia M Curran, his sons Christopher Curran and Les Kratochvil, his step sons Bryan Puza, Jeff and his wife Lori Puza, his step daughter Margaret Puza, his step grandson Brent Puza, his step granddaughter Catelyn Puza, and his step great granddaughter Sydney. As well as his brothers Bernard and his wife Rose Curran, Robert and his wife Mabel Curran, Richard and his wife Fran Curran, Thomas and his wife Theresa Curran, William and his wife Irene Curran, along with his sisters Catherine and her late husband Tom McKemmie, Rita and her late husband Fred Bruno, Judith and her husband Carlo Orciari. Patrick also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. In your words Dad, “keep in touch” we love you.
The funeral for Patrick will be held on Saturday April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
