WESTFIELD – Paul F. Hadley Sr., 76, of Westfield died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Noble Hospital. He was born in Westfield on November 3, 1936 to Paul B. and Mady E. (Hart) Hadley.
He was a 1954 graduate of Westfield High School and a US Marine Corps Veteran. Paul was employed at HB Smith Co. in Westfield for forty-seven years retiring in 2007 as a Shipping Supervisor. He was a communicant of St. Peters & St. Casimirs Parish in Westfield. Paul enjoyed collecting, metal detecting and softball.
He leaves his wife, Patricia A. (Lynch) Villecco Hadley; a son, Paul F. Hadley Jr. and his wife Jan of Westfield; a daughter, Kimberly Pulley of Altamonte Springs, FL; a brother, Bruce Hadley of Westfield; a sister, Lynn McEwan and her husband Jon of Westfield. Paul also leaves his grandchildren, Kyle, Keith, Heather, Erin, Amy and Tim and five great-grandchildren and a stepson, James M. Villecco of Westfield. He was predeceased by his first wife, Helen Frances (Perkins) Hadley in 1989.
The funeral will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in St. Peters Church in Westfield at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow in the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown MA 02472.
