WESTFIELD: Paul J. Casey, Sr. 74, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Boston to the late Thomas and Bridget (Joyce) Casey. He was a graduate of UMASS and received his Jurisprudence from WNEC. He worked as the City Solicitor for the City of Westfield for over 20 years. He also taught at St. Mary’s High School. Paul loved to read, watch the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots game and was a member of the Westfield Rotary. Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Annmarie (O’Connor) Casey of Westfield, his son Paul J. Casey, Jr. of Westfield, his daughter Maureen C. Ward and her husband, Jay of South Carolina, his brother Edward Casey and his wife, Cammella of Lexington, MA and his two cherished grandchildren, Maura and Connor Ward. Paul was a registered organ and tissue donor. His family honored his wishes, giving hope to others and their families. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield. Rites of Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
