WESTFIELD – Phyllis Ann Clark Moltenbrey, age 87, of Glen Mills, PA formerly of Westfield, MA died on January 17, 2015 at Rose Court – Continuing Care at Maris Grove. She was born the daughter of Noella B. (Ashmore) Clark and Walter S. Clark. Phyllis graduated Westfield High School in 1945. She graduated Brockton Hospital School of Nursing in 1948 with her R.N. She worked as a surgical R.N. in the O.R. at Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA after completing R.N. training. Mrs. Moltenbrey also worked for a surgeon in Newburgh, N.Y. for many years, coordinating all services in the office. Phyllis played a very important role in helping to establish and sustain the Center for Creative Arts (CCA) founded in 1979 in Hockessin, DE. Throughout the years, she held all offices of the Board of Directors and was an active member of the Board of Trustees. Along with being involved in the administrative aspects of the CCA, Phyllis taught silk flower arranging and managed the Yorklyn Valley Antiques Fair sponsored by CCA for eighteen years. She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Moltenbrey, of Glen Mills, PA; her son, Skip Moltenbrey, daughter-in-law, Melissa Moltenbrey, and granddaughter, Kristen Moltenbrey all of Sanford, N.C.; her sister, Dale N. Clark, and Dale’s partner, Robert Betts, of Westfield, MA. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins in both the U.S. and Canada. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield with a service to follow at 1:30 PM at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield.
