WESTFIELD: Phyllis Nuttall (nee Bottomley) passed away peacefully on at the age of 96.
She was born April 9, 1918 in Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire, England. She married Joseph Nuttall on January 2, 1942. Joe and Phyllis moved to Westfield, MA in 1984. She leaves her only child and son-in-law, Susan Kingra and Dr. Gurpal S. Kingra of Westfield, her grandchildren, Mahinder S. Kingra of Ithaca, NY, Michael Kingra and wife Katey of Ithaca, NY, and Manjit Kingra of Baltimore, MD, and her great-grandchild Sadie. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her sisters Elsie, Mary, and Joan, and her two brothers Harry and Jack.
She was an expert quilter who received numerous blue ribbons in local competitions. She leaves her two friends Eleanor Bystrysnki and Irene Marsh.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
