Westfield – Phyllis (Goodwin) Young, 89, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Westfield to the late Murray and Marjorie (Flint) Goodwin. Phyllis worked as a fabric screen print artist for 40 years before retiring. She was an avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. Phyllis was predecease by her beloved husband Leon Young in 2002 and recently this year by her son Ret. MSGT Patrick Young . She is survived by her daughter, with whom she lived, Elaine M. Young of Montgomery and a brother Neil Goodwin of California. All services for Phyllis will private.
