The GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Monument located at Pine Hill Cemetery.
WESTFIELD – The American Legion Post 124 family of the American Legion, The Sons of the American Legion and The American Legion Auxiliary plan to clean Civil War headstones in the area of the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Soldier and a number of other Civil War headstones in Westfield’s Pine Hill Cemetery. The clean-up day is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018. The volunteers will meet at the Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Soldier for 8:30 A.M. The scope of the project will include the cleaning of fourteen civil war headstones abutting the G.A.R. civil war soldier.
