10:16 a.m.: attempted breaking & entering, 334 E. Main St., investigated;
1:35 p.m.: accident, Big Y, 475 E. Main St., caller reported striking a parked vehicle in this location, no injuries, no tows;
3:19 p.m.: medial emergency, Jaeger Driver, caller reported he was cleaning his gun and accidentally shot his hand, patient transported to Baystate Medical Center;
4:02 p.m.: assist citizen, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., party surrendered his guns since his LTC was suspended;
6:06 p.m.: arrest, Elm Street, Amneris Lassend, 34, of 88 Leary Drive, Holyoke, arrested on charges of distributing Class A drug to Robert E. Matthews and possession to distribute Class A drug and Robert E. Matthews, 24, of 17 Miller St., arrested on charges of possession of Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug law (distribution of Class A) with Amneris Lassend;
11:46 p.m.: abnormal behavior, Pinehurst St., removed to hospital.
