1:39 a.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Elm Street. Police initially stopped a vehicle for a lights violation. After inputting the driver’s information into the police’s computer system, police found that the driver, Jonathan L. Westbrook, 27, of Southwick, reportedly had a suspended license. Police arrested Westbrook and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and motor vehicle lights violation.
10:57 a.m.: Accident, Putnam Drive and Russell Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2002 Subaru Impreza and a 2008 Cadillac SRX with injuries. Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics responded and transported a patient to Baystate Noble Hospital. Both vehicles were also towed.
3:44 p.m.: Accident, East Main Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2009 Nissan Maxima and a 2014 Honda CRV. One injury was reported, and Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics responded and transported the patient to Baystate Noble Hospital. No vehicles were towed.
3:54 p.m.: Disorderly conduct and arrest, Chapel Street and Elm Street. Police reported that they had found someone walking down the street and screaming, as well as consuming alcohol in public. The person initially refused to stop for police. Police eventually arrested Thomas M. Tetreault, 45, of Westfield, and charged with disorderly conduct and consumption of alcohol in public.
4:51 p.m.: Accident, Pontoosic Road. Police received a report of a motorcycle that had reportedly lost control and “wiped out by the bottom of the Pontoosic Hill.” Police received a report after that the motorcyclist reportedly got back onto their motorcycle and drove away, eventually ending up in Southwick. Police received a report that Southwick Police eventually came in contact with the operator. No further information was available at the time of the report.
