Another quiet day for Westfield Police
1:19 a.m.: Accident, North Elm Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that was driving and struck a raised structure. The incident resulted in two flat tires on the vehicle. No injuries were noted but the vehicle needed to be towed. Police had the issue addressed later in the morning by DPW.
6:33 a.m.: Found property, Main Street. Police received a report of a bicycle that was found in the front yard of a residence on Main Street. Police had no leads on whose bicycle it was, but took it to the station for inventory.
2:42 p.m.: Medical emergency, Holyoke Road. Police received a report of a disturbance at a residence on Holyoke Road that resulted in an injury. Police reported that two individuals got into an argument over a visitor at the residence, which resulted in one of the people getting locked out of the home by the other, allegedly. The person who was reportedly locked out punched the window and ended up cutting their arm in the process. Westfield Fire Department transported the person to a local hospital for treatment. No arrests were made.
