9:51 a.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road and Rita Mary Way. Police received a report of a one-vehicle accident, with a street sign that was damaged according to the log. Police reported that the accident appeared to be related to a medical issue. Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel transported the operator to Baystate Noble Hospital.
2:30 p.m.: Missing person, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party who reported a teenager missing. According to The Westfield News about the missing teen, Mary Lamere, 16, was reported missing “after they received a report that the teen had left around 1 p.m. yesterday,” according to Westfield Police Capt. Michael McCabe. According to police, Lamere was last heard from via text message shortly after 2 p.m.
