12:54 a.m.: Accident, Lincoln Street and Kellogg Street. Police received a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder and a tree. According to police, the vehicle was possibly “drifting” per a witness and the vehicle struck a tree. No injuries or charges were reported but the vehicle was towed from the scene.
8:08 a.m.: Accident, Little River Road and Violet Circle. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a 2007 Acura TL and a 2014 Dodge Caravan. Police reported no injuries or tow that is needed, but a wheel reportedly fell off of one of the vehicles.
8:53 a.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a minor two-vehicle accident involving a 1999 Honda CRV and a 1998 Toyota Camry. No injuries.
11:05 a.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road and Old Holyoke Road. Police received a report of a minor two-vehicle accident involving a 2015 Toyota Camry and a 2015 model truck. No injuries.
12:59 p.m.: Accident, East Main Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a 2006 Honda Civic and a 2011 Toyota Corolla. No injuries were reported but both vehicles were towed.
2:24 p.m.: Accident, East Main Street. Police received a report of a three-vehicle accident in a parking lot on East Main Street involving a 2013 Ford Escape, a 2012 Kia Optima and a 2016 Dodge Ram. No injuries reported but two vehicles towed.
5:42 p.m.: Larceny, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of a suspect who reportedly stole a wallet from a shopping cart at Walmart. Police arrested Luis A. Caraballo-Cancel, 18, of Springfield, and charged him with four counts of larceny of a credit card and one count of larceny over $250.
