9:06 a.m.: Accident, Franklin Street. Police received a report of a minor two-vehicle accident involving a 2006 truck and a propane tanker. According to the police, the propane tanker allegedly drove by the truck and struck and knocked off the truck’s sideview mirror. No injuries.
10:33 a.m.: Identity fraud, walk-in. Police received a report of identity fraud after a resident’s debit card was reportedly used in Colorado without authorization. Several purchases were made. Police are currently investigating.
12:14 p.m.: Assist other agency and arrest, Southampton Road. Police received a report from the Westfield health department regarding Alvin Lewis, 75, of Westfield, allegedly trespassing on property and reportedly living in a trailer that was deemed uninhabitable. Police arrested Lewis and charged him with trespassing.
2:29 p.m.: Accident, Union Avenue. Police received a report of a minor two-vehicle collision involving a 2009 Toyota Yaris and a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. No injuries were reported but one vehicle was towed.
