9:54 a.m.: Accident, Meadow Street and Hanover Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2004 Nissan Altima. Police reported that airbags were deployed and one person was injured. Both vehicles were towed and Westfield Fire paramedics transported one person to Baystate Noble Hospital for treatment.
1:19 p.m.: Accident, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a 2013 Ford Focus and an unknown second vehicle. Police had a witness but no further information was provided by police at the time of the report.
5:35 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, North Road. Police initially stopped a vehicle after they witnessed it allegedly “roll through a stop sign.” After inputting driver’s information into the police database, it was found that the driver, Daniel CW Loucks, 36, of Otis, also had a suspended license. Police arrested Loucks and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended–subsequent offense, and stop sign violation.
