12:34 p.m.: shoplifting, Rite Aid Stores, 7 E. Silver St., Brian R. Glasheen, 50, of Free St. Shelter, arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise;
6:29 p.m.: found property, 15 Washington St., man brought in a quarter that he found on the steps of the Westfield Police Department;
7:30 p.m.: accident, 5 Ingersoll Drive at 30 Steiger Drive, vehicle hit a parked car that was parked facing the wrong direction, one vehicle towed, no injuries;
9:31 p.m.: traffic complaint, Pleasant Street, Patrick Q. Hubbard, 27, of 156 Sackett Road, arrested on charges of possession of Class A drug (heroin);
11:47 p.m.: suspicious, Cowles Bridge, 15 Southwick Road, intoxicated woman seen in this area and not dressed appropriately for the weather, taken into protective custody.
