8:16 a.m.: suspicious person, Medexpress Urgent Care, 311 E. Main St., Hector L. Casillas, 34, of 32 Stuart Place, was arrested on an outstanding warrant;
8:40 a.m.: auto fire, Pro Automotive Repair, 979 Southampton Road, customer brought in a Dodge Ram with smoking coming out from underneath hood and then caught fire, dual response, fire extinguished, no injuries;
11:16 a.m.: larceny, Stop & Shop, 57 Main St., report of white man shoplifting $180 worth of meat about 20 minutes prior to call, same suspect was caught shoplifting at the Stop & Shop in West Springfield earlier that day;
3:40 p.m.: shoplifting, Tobacco Barn, 49 Elm St. report that a party stole a $75 bottle of alcohol, suspect seen on camera;
8:36 p.m.: shoplifting, Stop & Shop, 57 Main St., report that a woman left store with $60 worth of product, license plate given to police, stolen items were left with suspect’s mother and were returned to store;
10:35 p.m.: accident, Big Y Supermarket 1 E. Silver St., two-vehicle collision, no injuries, no tows.
