12:15 a.m.: accident, Russell Road at Beckwith Avenue, multiple callers report a motorcycle crash involving a utility pole in which the operator appears to be unconscious, dual response dispatched, the operator was initially transported Baystate Noble Hospital where he was stabilized and transferred to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries, State Police were notified and asked to dispatch their accident construction team, the motorcycle was transported the police impound yard;
8:17 a.m.: parking violation, Southampton Road, a caller reports a tractor-trailer unit has been parked on Southampton Road all night, the responding officer reports that the operator was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant issued in 1997 by the Lawrence District Court, Pedro Sanchez-Gonzalez, 42, of 12095 Elgin Boulevard, Spring Hill, Fla., was arrested on the warrant;
6:53 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating without a current inspection sticker and stopped it, the operator’s license was found to have been suspended, Alberto E. Morales, 26, of 16 Hanover St., Apt C, Westfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker;
10:04 p.m.: narcotics violation, Baystate Nobel Hospital, 115 West Silver St., a security officer from the hospital reports a person brought a patient a grinder which was found to contain packets of a white powder believed to be heroin, the responding officer reports the suspect had left the area prior to his arrival, the incident remains under investigation.
