7:38 a.m.: motor vehicle theft, St. James Avenue, a caller reports that her motor vehicle was stolen sometime overnight, the responding officer filed an incident report;
8:36 a.m.: motor vehicle breaking and entering, Western Avenue, a caller reports that somebody broke into her vehicle overnight and stole items, the responding officer filed an incident report;
10:51 a.m.: motor vehicle violations, Washington Street, a police detective reports that he needs additional police assistance with a motor vehicle stop he is conducting, the detective reports that Spencer Barber Godin, 33, of 18 High St., Westfield was placed under arrest for two outstanding warrants, and Thad J. Stoelb, 42, of 19 Lockhouse Road, Westfield, was placed under arrest for three outstanding warrants.
Southwick
11:18 p.m.: disturbance, Berkshire Avenue, a caller reports loud voices and a possible disturbance near the lake, the responding officer reports that an area search turned up negative.
