1:15 a.m.: accident, Union Street, a patrol officer reports that a vehicle took off and struck a parked vehicle, causing airbag deployment, the officer reports that two ambulances were requested due to serious injuries sustained by parties involved in the crash, both ambulances report that two people were transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the officer reports that two tow trucks were requested to remove both vehicles from the scene;

5:49 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Paul Street, a caller reports that she returned home to find a broken window and her jewelry and shoes missing, the responding officer filed a police report;

 7:44 p.m.: animal complaint, Pochassic Street, officers report that they were forwarded a social media post depicting a male party committing acts of animal cruelty earlier in the evening, the officers report that they went to the address given to them to discover the male party wearing the same clothing he was wearing in the social media video, the officers report that Nikita P. Chepurin, 20, of 59 Pochassic St., Westfield was placed under arrest for cruelty to animals.


8:32 a.m.: officer wanted, Hillside Road, a fraudulent unemployment claim was reported;

6 p.m.: officer wanted, Feeding Hills Road, a caller asked for assistance retrieving belongings from a former girlfriend who claims the caller stole from her, the parties were referred to take the matter to court.
