WESTFIELD

12:37 a.m.: motor vehicle accident, City View Road, multiple callers report a two motor vehicle accident with airbag deployment, the responding officer reports that one tow truck was requested to remove one of the vehicles from the scene, dispatch reports that one party refused medical attention;

3:17 p.m.: violation of city ordinance, North Road, a caller reports that a North Road church is full and possibly in violation of COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, the responding officer reports that the parking lot and the church itself were full in violation of Gov. Charlie D. Baker’s order #59 limiting the number of people that can be at indoor gatherings, the officer reports that the information was sent to the Westfield Health Department;

10:40 p.m.: hit-and-run accident, Union Street, a caller reports that a vehicle committed a hit-and-run and left the area, a second caller reports a vehicle smashed on the side of the road matching the description of the suspect vehicle given by the first caller, the responding officer reports that the vehicle was unoccupied and in the middle of the road and the operator could not be located, the officer reports that a tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene.

SOUTHWICK

5:16 a.m.: fire, Curtis Road, a caller states there was an explosion that shook his house and smoke is coming from a Curtis Road house, Southwick Fire responded;

8:54 a.m.: motor vehicle complaint, Revere Road, a caller reports a vehicle driving through the area looking for a loose dog is driving on lawns, a responding officer reports minor damage to a Salem Road lawn, the motorist was cited;

7:37 p.m.: fireworks, Mort Vining Road, activity was terminated according to a responding officer;

11:20 p.m.: accident, Coes Hill Road, an accident caused property damage under $1,000;

11:27 p.m.: accident, Foster Road, a vehicle went off the roadway, drove over a lawn and left the scene.
