5:37 p.m.: accident, East Mountain Road, a caller reports that a vehicle struck a telephone pole and that the operator may be injured, dispatch reports that one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the responding officer reports that one tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene, the officer reports that Westfield gas & Electric responded to assess the damage to the telephone pole;

6:47 p.m.: weather complaint, Union Street, a caller reports that a tree is down blocking both lanes of traffic and bringing power lines down along with it, the responding officer reports that a utility pole was also blocking traffic, dispatch reports that Westfield Gas & Electric responded to remove the pole, an officer reports that nearby traffic lights were flashing and traffic was blocked while the situation was resolved;

8:46 p.m.: accident, Orange Street, multiple callers report a two motor vehicle accident, the responding officer reports that traffic was shut down and rerouted because of the accident, dispatch reports that two people refused medical attention;

10:08 p.m.: animal complaint, Springfield Road, a female party reports that she found a kitten on Springfield Road and brought it to the Westfield Police Headquarters, the responding officer reports that he transported the kitten to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter.
