11:08 a.m.: fraud, Columbia Street, a resident came to the station to report that she was the victim of a scam, the responding officer reports the woman fell victim to a common scam in which a caller claims to represent the IRS and threatens arrest if funds are not immediately transmitted by extraordinary means;
2:08 p.m.: accident, Springfield Road a caller reports a two car crash with airbag deployment and leaking fluids, the responding officer reports one operator was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and the occupants of the second vehicle were provided a courtesy transport to a Michael Drive address, both vehicles were towed to the police impound yard.
