12:18 p.m.: Accident, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2015 Ford Focus and a 2005 Ford Escape. Police initially were told that there were no injuries, but upon police arrival one person claimed injury. That person was transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, via Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics. Both vehicles were also towed.
