2:05 a.m.: Assault, walk-in. Police received a report from a woman who claimed that she was attacked by three women who were familiar to her at a local bar. While there, she reports that bouncers at the establishment separated the attack and she then left. Police did not arrest anyone at the time but charges are expected to be filed against the accused assailants.
3:58 a.m.: Accident, Lockhouse Road. Police received a report from a resident who claimed that their vehicle was struck and their neighbor may have been responsible for the damage. Police did not make any arrests or press any charges at the time of the report.
9:26 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Franklin Street. Police initially stopped a vehicle after they noticed that it was speeding. After the stop, police noticed that the driver, Loren A. Tolley, 58, of Woronoco, had signs of alcohol intoxication. Police report that Tolley failed all field sobriety tests and was arrested on operating under the influence of liquor–third offense, negligent operation of motor vehicle and speeding in violation of special regulation.
11:37 p.m.: Noise complaint and arrest, Washington Street. Police responded to a residence for a noise complaint three separate times throughout the evening. Upon the third time responding to the address and telling the occupant that they were going to have to arrest them if they did not turn down music, the person refused. Police then arrested Willie J. Young, 63, of Westfield, and charged him with disturbing the peace.
