8 a.m.: Accident, Westfield Auto Mall, Springfield Road. Police received a report of two parked vehicles that were reportedly struck some point overnight, as well as another apparently abandoned car with Texas license plates on it with damage. Police were able to track down the registered owner of the vehicle to a residence in Westfield. According to police, the female who allegedly operated the vehicle said she lost control of the vehicle, struck a guardrail and then struck the cars. Additionally, police claim that she noted there was no one to report the accident to and left. No arrests were made.
12:48 p.m.: Fraud, walk-in. Police received a report of a person who claimed they were a victim of fraud. The person reportedly sent money to someone who called, claiming that they were going to consolidate the debt of the victim. Police are investigating.
3:34 p.m.: Accident, Washington Street and School Street. Police received a report for a two-vehicle crash involving a 2014 Ford Econoline and a 2006 Toyota Tundra. There were no injuries and no need for tow trucks.
4:12 p.m.: Accident, Montgomery Road and Massey Street. Police received a report of a one-car crash involving a 2008 Toyota Highlander. The vehicle reportedly went through a turn with too much speed and collided with a guardrail. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
